Microorganism denitrification reaction control by gas sensor

Lately gas sensor technology has remarkably developed. By use of it, we have developed a technology to detect and control reaction of gas generated during reaction in liquid. Our technology consists of two methods: new sulfide method (NS process) already industrialized and method to control microorganism denitrifying reaction by methanol monitor, which we introduce herein. We have made up methanol monitor as a product and started its marketing.

Outline of control technology

Taking into a carburetor small and fixed quantity of liquid from denitrifying tank, we aerate it by sending air of 0.5L/min. (photo at right bottom). When denitrifying tank is in the state of excessive methanol, methanol gas is detected in proportion to the density of remaining methanol. The temperature inside carburetor is precisely controlled at 40. According to the instruction of gas monitor, methanol pump of denitrifying treatment equipment is controlled and methanol is fed.
