Advantage of technology to control reaction by gas sensor

Requirements to efficiently use reaction control technology by gas sensor

Application to supply control of methanol during the process of micro-
organism denitrification treatment

By use of recent gas sensor, we have succeeded in controlling methanol supply during the process of microorganism denitrification treatment and already operated at 8 plants to this day.

Flow chart of system to detect and control

1.To continuously send, by tube pump, to carburetor small quantity of waste water of microorganism denitrification treatment tank

2.To aerate in the circumstance where temperature is precisely controlled Generated gas is sent continuously to methanol gas sensor.

3.The sensor precisely detects excessive methanol, if even small quantity of it remains in denitrification tank

4.Methanol pump stops according to the instruction of methanol monitor

5.When methanol is in short supply, methanol gas does not generate. Then methanol supply pump starts operation according to the instruction of monitor.
